Opening Our Doors
Join MAAM and our neighboring cultural institutions for a free day of fun in the Fenway during this year’s 25th annual Opening Our Doors! At MAAM, explore our current exhibitions and get creative in the Barkan Family Big Ideas Studio with hands-on artmaking for all ages.
On View at MAAM
Banu Cennetoğlu presents right? (2022-ongoing), an evolving work that transforms articles from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) into dense bouquets of gold Mylar letter balloons.
Known for his mathematically distorted sculptures, Robert Lazzarini's solo exhibition reimagines familiar symbols of American identity through a destabilizing formal language that challenges perception and certainty.
Baseera Khan’s Where We Come From features a large, fractured column wrapped in Kashmiri silk alongside six hand-worked prayer rugs that merge devotional imagery with the visual language of protest.
