Blane De St. Croix

Artist Talk

Executing monumental sculptures that address topical subjects such as society, politics, and science, alumnus Blane De St. Croix ‘79 (BFA Sculpture) will be giving a free virtual lecture about his latest exhibition currently on view at Mass MoCA. While How to Move a Landscape focuses on the potentially catastrophic collapse of Earth’s rapidly thawing permafrost, De St.Croix has created a hauntingly beautiful body of work.

This event has been co-sponsored by MAAM and MassArt Fine Art 3D, with additional support from the MassArt Sustainability Initiative and Alumni Relations.
