Noodle and doodle to tunes from Daughter of the Vine during this special edition of Twilight, co-produced with MassArt Professor of Illustration Robert Maloney. Come in your best spooktacular or fun costume and enjoy mocktails, hands-on sketching in the galleries, and creative connections at MAAM.

*To ensure the safety of works of art on view, we allow dry media in our galleries. We are unable to accommodate the use of charcoal or pastel, paint, ink, or wet media.

Daughter of the Vine 

Daughter of the Vine – the latest mystical musical endeavor, by Boston area singer / guitarist Margaret Garrett (formerly of Mr. Airplane Man), guitarist / singer Gregg Porter (The Concerns), drummer Kurt Davis (formerly of The Konks) and bassist Chris Lohring.

Since 2022, the Boston-based Psych band has been playing their particular brand of atmospheric rock music, live in performance. They released their first full length LP, MYSTIC VALLEY PKWY in 2024, followed by the Sonic Projection EP in early 2026, then their second full length LP, Holy is the Sun, in June 2026.

Daughter has an ethereal, atmospheric, reverb-laden, transcendent sound. Streaming consciousness...

Robert Maloney 

Robert Maloney is a Boston-area native who creates multimedia pieces influenced by the many layers of the urban landscape. His recent work focuses on the connections between the temporary materials of our man-made structures and how these fragile forms relate to the erosion of our memories over the course of time.
