Wikimedia’s gender trouble is well-documented. In 2011, less than 10% of its contributors identified as female. The content for this increasingly important repository of shared knowledge is skewed by this disparity. Let’s change that. Join us for a virtual training and communal updating of Wikipedia entries on subjects related to art and feminism, sponsored by the Morton R. Godine Library and the MassArt Art Museum (MAAM). We will provide tutorials and access to online reference materials. This event is designed to train more women to be editors, though all gender identities are welcome.
