Join India Clark, founder of Wayfinder Institute, for a mindfulness retreat designed for soon-to-be caregivers and individuals who are expecting a new child in the coming months. Offered in connection with the exhibition, Designing Motherhood: Things That Make and Break Our Births, this all-day retreat hosted in the galleries at MAAM, with a special mid-day escape to the tranquil Courtyard of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, invites you to center yourself as you prepare for the arrival of your little one.

In preparing this daylong mindfulness retreat for caregivers who are expecting, we have made every effort to consider bodily comfort and needs. The atmosphere will be relaxed, compassionate, and contemplative. Movement will be welcome. Bathroom breaks will be welcome. Snacks and water will be provided, and lunch will be available for purchase at MassArt, or you may bring your own. No prior meditation experience is necessary.

Free.
