Rob Wynne’s shimmering works are simultaneously poetic, humorous, and tragic. Not formally trained in glass, Wynne has developed an experimental approach to the medium. His poured glass sculptures, though seemingly haphazard, are in fact carefully designed installations.

Using text as inspiration since the 1970s, he repurposes excerpts from everyday conversations, literature, and pop culture to create his own sculptural visual syntax with both playful and challenging imagery, from butterflies and mushrooms to red blood-like splats.
