The Guerrilla Girls are anonymous artist activists who use disruptive headlines, outrageous visuals, and striking statistics to expose gender and ethnic bias and corruption in art, film, politics, and pop culture. A one hour romp through the history of the Guerrilla Girls from 1985 to today. This talk by Guerrilla Girls founding member, Frida Kahlo, is offered in connection with the current exhibition May Stevens: My Mothers. This exhibition features the work of painter, poet, feminist icon, and founding member of the Guerrilla Girls, May Stevens (MassArt ‘46).

Following the talk, enjoy a special viewing of the exhibition at MAAM until 8:30pm.

While in-person tickets for this event have sold out, virtual registration is still available.
